In 2007 Evangelos joined as a guest the State Theater of Kassel, where he performed choreographies of Johannes Wieland. Since then Evangelos is collaborating in depth with Johannes Wieland as dancer, video editor, choreographic assistant and teaching assistant.

Evangelos also worked with Compagnie Linga (Lausanne) and Marcel Leemann Physical Dance Theater. In 2012 Evangelos joined the State Theater of Oldenburg as a rehearsal Director. At the summer of 2015 Evangelos had the honor to be selected as one of the emerging choreographers at Springboard Dance Montreal where he created the piece "Nexus".
In the meantime, he is teaching contemporary dance technique and partnering at the SOZO visions in motion (Kassel) and giving workshops in Germany, Poland, Greece, Switzerland and Sweden. Since 2010 he organizes the "one small step" contemporary dance festival in urban environment in the city of Corfu, Greece.

Evangelos is a co-founder of the non-profit ''eleftheri ptosi''. With "eleftheri ptosi" he produced the piece ''metamorfosis'', which has been performed in Italy, Spain, Germany and Switzerland. Currently Evangelos is a freelancer choreographer, dancer and dance teacher.

The class starts with mobilizing and stretching exercises and builds gradually up to floor work leading to very physical and dynamic phrases. We will deal with ways we can organize our body so we can be more efficient, faster and smother in moving into and out of the floor. We will use the gravity and the floor as dance partners that can support us and allow us to both bring our body out of balance and propel us to high jumps. In the class the participants are encouraged to take risks and explore their physicality, and by using their strengths to challenge their weak points.

It is exciting to dance with other people. In this workshop we will explore ways improve our corporeal awareness in connection with a partner.
The workshop starts with a good warm up of all the joins and the muscles of our body and with exercises to get familiar with our dance partner. Getting familiar with the body of our partner is essential in order to be able later to trust our weight, our self in the hands of another person. Strengthening is essential for partnering. The progresses with simple exercises of receiving weight and moving as a couple or small groups to more complex acrobatic exercises that lead gradually to the final partnering combination of the class.
